The HALLMAN brand was established to provide more affordable options to consumers that are in search of luxury appliances for their home. We are dedicated to providing people around the world with the highest quality equipment, at the best possible price. We have traveled the globe establishing partnerships with well respected manufacturers. Variations of our products have been sold in the United States and abroad for many years under more well known labels. We strive to create value for our customers by minimizing operating costs, and reducing the number of sales channels. This strategy has proven to be an excellent benefit to everyone involved.

Our story began in the summer of 2005, when Ben Hallman launched Aus-Tex Appliance from a one-car garage with his father, Bill. As the real estate market in exploded, business grew quickly, and we expanded to a large warehouse in bohemian south Austin, Texas. We quickly grew a name for ourselves as the go-to spot for truckloads of scratch & dent, closeout and discontinued appliances, factory direct, from 75 brands. Upon the launch of a major website offering more than 30,000 items, we sought more obscure brands internationally to give shoppers a better value. After establishing many successful partnerships, we thought it wise to consolidate the line-up into one brand, thus, HALLMAN was created.

In the Spring of 2014, the Hallman family took a leap of faith ,closed the Austin warehouse, and purchased a 40 acre ranch in Central Texas, complete with a distribution center on-site that is larger than a football field under one roof. This paved the road ahead to phase out our local retail dealership, and transition to a full-fledged OEM import distribution company, specializing in luxury appliances bearing the HALLMAN name.

The Hallman family’s hard work and dedication to the appliance industry and our customers continue to drive business forward today, navigating cautiously through economic peaks and valleys. Serving more than 20,000 customers has been a rewarding experience, and we look forward to many more ahead.
